Ball candles are simple and easy to find yet they offer a unique twist on the norm

There are so many different types of candles that can be purchased on-line. The most common being pillars, tapers and votives, but there are also many novelty candles that are easy to find and are fun because they are a little different. Ball candles are interesting and most stores will sell them. They have a shape that is different than what you would normally think of when you think of candles, but ball candles are also very simple and can be rather elegant.

Ball candles come in a number of different colors and designs aside from simple white. They also come in different size. Some can be small with a 2" diameter, while others are larger with a 5"-7" diameter. They burn relatively well and easily. Ball candles also have a decent burning time that increases greatly when the diameter is increased. For example a 2" diameter candle will burn for 3-4 hours and a 3" diameter candle will burn for 24 hours.

Used as decoration, ball candles are excellent and they add an interesting touch. There is no need for a candle holder because they are decorative enough on their own, however, if you are planning on burning your ball candle I would suggest that you place in on a candle holder so that if any of the wax drips it will not damage the surface that it is on. Using simple glass pillar candle holders is nice because they do not take away from the beauty and simplicity of the ball candles.
