Burn Candles Safely With Candle Jars

Have you ever been concerned about the safety of burning a pillar candle or votive? Besides the danger of burning an unenclosed candle, there is also the problem of spilled wax staining tablecloths or marring the finish of wooden furniture. Fortunately, there is a wonderful solution to these problems. Candle Jars are designed to keep the candle and melted wax easily contained. Even better, since candle jars have lids, you can keep the scent from fading by closing the lids when you are not burning your candles.

Candle jars are available in a range of sizes, styles and prices. Larger candles by brand name companies can be a bit pricey, but they often burn better and longer, especially if they are made with soy instead of paraffin wax. While many candles come in glass jars, you can also find them in attractive stoneware containers.

When you are shopping for candle jars, don’t be afraid to open a jar and smell the candle. Some combinations smell better than others. In addition, if the scent is faint, you may want to look for another candle jar brand, as not all of these candles are scented the entire way through the jar. You may also want to check to see what type of wick is being used in the candle, as there is nothing more frustrating than a big jar full of candle wax that can’t be burned because of an inferior wick.
