By Alia KubeFrom the simplest to most elaborate candle lamps, they all add a unique decorative touchPeople are always searching for unique decorative candles and holders. One alternative to the traditional styles are candle lamps. Candle lamps come in a variety of styles, but the most common style looks like a small side table lamp. Often the stand is made from metal and the shade is made of glass. Usually they are meant to burn tealights that cast a soft glow. There are as many variations and style of candle lamps as there are lights at Christmas time. Some are very simple with a very plain metal stand, others come with a ceramic stand that is painted with intricate designs and a rainbow of colors. The glass top of candle lamps can also be very simple and plain, or it can be hand paint with floral designs for example. Another variation on candle lamps in candle lanterns. Lanterns are hung and they house the candle inside either a glass and metal case or they sometimes look like Chinese lanterns with metal on either end and a fabric or paper shade, you must take great care when burning candles inside these. To look for candle lamps on-line look under candle holder headings or look for stores that specialize in selling unique candle lamps.
