For convenience and easier burning jar candles are best

If you are looking for convenience and simplicity than a jar candle is perfect for you. A jar candle is essentially a candle that comes in a jar or some sort of glass container. The wax is poured directly into the jar, so the candle can not be removed from the jar. The jar therefore acts as a candle holder. This creates convenience and makes jar candles safer and cleaner to burn.

Jar candles are very convenient because you don't have to buy a candle holder for them. They generally come in the size of a small jam jar. There are variations including frosted jars, jars with or without lids, apothecary jars and they may even be made out to look like a jar of jam with the flavor of the jam reflecting the scent of the candle. As glass can get hot it is important to burn jar candles for no more than two hours at a time.

Aside from votive candles and jar candles there are no other candles that are completely contained within their holder. This makes jar candles cleaner, safer and easier to burn. There is no risk of the wax dripping, so although candles should never be left burning unattended, this is one problem you will never have to worry about. Burning candles by a bubble bath is a nice way to relax and jar candles are the best type of candle for this. They are also good in the kitchen or bedroom if you like to burn candles on a regular basis.
