deciding which Wall Candle Holders to buy? consider the type of candle they hold

Wall candle holders, sometimes referred to as candle sconces, are an interesting decorating tool. They can be very simple, a metal ring holding a glass votive holder, or they can be large and elaborate, holding multiple candles and having beaded shades for the candles. You might expect to pay anywhere from $12 for very simple wall candle holders, to $50 or $60 for ones that are large and intricate.

It is important when buying wall candle holders to think about whether or not you will want to light the candles that it holds often. Buying one that holds votives or tealights is more practical if you are going to be lighting the candles often because you wont have to worry about the candles dripping wax. Another option is one that holds a jar or container candle, with these as well you wont have to worry about dripping wax. finding a wall candle holder that holds votives or tealights is easy because most are made to hold these two types of candles.

If you find the wall candle holders that you want and they hold pillar or taper candles make sure that you buy dripless candles and don't hang the holder above anything that could be easily ruined by dripping wax. Also, just as a precaution, keep a bottle of wax remover on hand. This can generally be found at any craft store that sells candle making supplies.
