Make Your Own Candles With Wholesale Candle Supplies

If you are a serious crafter, you may have considered making your own candles. However, candles are so inexpensive and supplies that are carried in the local craft stores are often a bit on the pricey side. If you aren't making candles because of the cost involved, then you may want to take a look at wholesale candle supplies. You can often find wholesale candle supplies at a steep discount, since suppliers know that candle makers need to make a profit on the candles they create.

Before you start shopping for wholesale candle supplies, you should compare the different wholesale companies. Look for companies that do not charge a fee for people who order smaller quantities or mixed lots. Also, take a look at shipping and handling charges. Sometimes, a company will seem to have inexpensive prices, but will make up the difference with high handling costs.

Once you find a wholesale candle supplies company that you like, check to see if you can order from the company without a business license. If you do need a business license to place an order, you may be able to find another crafter who already has a business license and is willing to place a joint order with you. If not, you may want to consider contacting your local small business association to find out about starting a candle making business. After all, selling your crafts can be a fun and rewarding business.
